Refresh Status "After Post"

Every time I post in a sub-forum and exit, the New Post status is active. Is it just my browser? I thought that the proper way to display New Posts to me is no new message as I know what message I just posted and would not like the sub-forum to state there is a new post for me to read.

Do you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth? Seriously though...

Let me try once more.

You have three colored cars that indicate: No New Post 'White', New Post 'Yellow' and Locked Post 'Red'.

When I post a new thread or respond to a thread within a forum topic and then leave the forum topic area, the yellow car remains and I have to go back into the forum topic to make the car turn white.

If there are threads I did not read, of course the root forum should show the forum topic as yellow but if I read or post withing a forum topic area, the root should show the car as white. -Repeat- I have to go back into the forum topic area and then click back to root in order for the change.

This of course increases the sites page count and I really do not care that it's double dipping, I just want to get the freshest site updates without having to re-enter the forum topics area more than I have too.

Is this a little clearer?
