CF roof DIY

hey guys,
here are a few pictures of my CF roof during the install. i'll briefly describe all the steps.

1. Remove interior - front seats, rear seats, headliner, A, B, C pillar covers. everything else was covered with a tarp and paper/tape.

2. Remove front/rear windows and sunroof.

3. Remove the tac welds on the roof with special drill bit.

Roof is off

5. Now tac weld the new roof bow between the B pillars

6. Grind the surface of the metal so the glue will stick better

7. Sand down the back side of the CF so glue will stick better. This area is where the new roof bow will attach.

The mother load of all glue guns :rofl2:

8. Apply glue generously on all the areas where the CF roof will contact.

More glue

9. Align the roof with the bike rack holes.

10. Secure each edge with clamps and let dry for 24hrs.

This could bring further business to you, I'm also interested in the price of labor and parts.
