X3 vs X5

Sister wants to buy a new X5 and was about to the deal until she saw an X3 that was "so cute" She was going to buy the 3.0 version now she's asking me about the X3. Is there any advantage to the X5 besides the obvious size?

I'm trying to convince her to get the X5

we have an x3...its my dads dailey...the x5 rides more like a truck while the x3 is more like a sedan in terms of driving characteristics. if you dont need the extra room or space an x3 does the job perfectly

The X5 looks better. Ok the new X3 3.0si with the facelift looks also betetr than the old one but the int. from the X5 looks like a luxury sedan.

yea, i used to hate the x3 but in 06 they put an agressive front and rear on, the front has the a similar look to the new m3 front design.

I think the X3, besides major room downgrade, it would be a good car for her.

The X3, to me, seems more of a perfect fit for women... Not too big, not too small, can hold a lot of shoe boxes. And has more than enough power to get out of its own way.
