BRAKE & ABS light

hey there,
my brake and abs lights have been turning off and on. When I get in and start up no lights but after driving a bit they come on and also disengage the DSC as that light comes on and I cannot turn it off unless I turn off and restart the car. Any thoughts or ideas on what is going on and what to do about it BESIDES taking it to my local authorized BMW dealership???
