The guys at Simpson Motorsport are developing an extreme version of the M3 CSL for road use.
Whilst they love the basic CSL as a road car, they felt that it sat a little uncomfortably between
a track car and road car. It was a little too harsh as a general road car, and compromised as a track car.
In their opinion, BMW really should have made something more akin to the Porsche GT3 clubsport or even
the GT3-RS.
So, they decided to do it, using everything they had learned from building their CSL-GT race car.
The car is now in its first stage of build with more to come over the next few months.
